I grew up in Travelers Rest, SC and attended public schools in Greenville County! The picture below is a family photo taken when I was in the second grade. I love this photo because it reminds me to smile, even when things are not going as planned.
I graduated from Furman University in May of 2015 with a bachelor's of arts in Elementary Education. In August of 2016, I earned my master's degree in Emotional and Behavioral Disorders from Furman as well.
Meet Hoodie, my crazy grey cat. I promise he is nicer than he looks. Phoebe is my goofball of a dog, and Fred Weasley is my orange wild cat, even though he looks calm in this photo.
I am extremely excited to be teaching at Grove Elementary again. I student taught at Grove in 4th grade and absolutely fell in love with the students and the atmosphere. This will be my eleventh year teaching. In my spare time I like to go for runs, read mystery books, and plan creative lessons for the classroom.
