About Me

I am so excited about being your child’s first grade teacher! This year is going to be filled with many learning adventures. I am filled with enthusiasm, anticipation, and excitement and I hope that I can pass this on to my students. Each and every child will be special to me and I will strive to guide, nurture, and prepare them for a love of learning.

I graduated from California State University, Sacramento and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Child Development. I then went on to pursue my multiple subject teaching credential at California State University, Fresno.  I recently finished my Masters in Literacy and Learning at the University of South Carolina. 

 I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling, running in Disney parks and reading. My husband and I along with our two kids Annabella and Liam moved to South Carolina eight years ago from California.  Annabella is a junior at Mauldin High School, and Liam is a freshman at Mauldin High.

I am committed to quality education and will do everything I can to assist your child in having a productive first grade year. I feel that school and home communication is extremely important and will be a key component to the success of your child!
