About Me

Hello! My name is JoAnne Baker. 

I am very excited to return to Monaview for my 8th year working with multilingual language learners. 

This is my 21st year as an educator. I began my teaching career in Atlanta, GA, where I taught in the DeKalb School System for 10 years. In addition, I’ve taught English as a Second language, in both dual immersion and full immersion programs. I am highly qualified, as designated by the state of South Carolina.  

 I love to travel and spend time with my family and friends in my free time.
