Woodmont High School’s Athletic Hall of Fame Committee was formed in May 2013 and consists of former and current Woodmont High School teachers, coaches, parents, students, and athletic directors that have proudly served Woodmont High School over the past fifty years.  The committee has established the following criteria for induction:

1)  The nominee must make an outstanding contribution to his or her sport. This includes, but is not limited to, 1st team All-Conference, All State, winning a Conference or State Championship, or any other significant honors bestowed upon the student athlete.

2)  The nominee’s college accomplishments and beyond will be considered but are not necessary for induction.

3)  The nominee should be a positive contributor to Woodmont High School and society. The nominee should have demonstrated outstanding character while at Woodmont High School and beyond. The nominee should be a positive role model, worthy of setting the highest standards for both current and future student athletes.

4) The nominee should be 10 years post-graduation for athletes with immediate time qualification for coaches.

Funding for the foundation of the Hall of Fame was made possible by the generous contributions of the following sponsors: Moonville Signs, Woodmont Athletic Boosters, Upstate Trophies, Woodmont High School, Woodmont FCA, MLB Builders, Tri-Logistics, Flynn Wealth Management Group, Kendall & Associates Insurance, Little Café in the Corner, those providing In Honor of Mrs. Joan Candler, and All Wildcats: Past, Present, and Future

Additional sponsorship is needed to continue to honor our outstanding athletes and coaches in the future.  Any individual or business wishing to contribute to the Woodmont Athletic Hall of Fame can contact Matt Evans at (864)355-8627 or mevans@greenville.k12.sc.us .

If the community would like to nominate former athletes or coaches for the Woodmont Athletic Hall of Fame that meet the criteria listed above for next year, they may fill out a nomination form.  Forms are also available in the front office at Woodmont High School.
