About Miss Sweeney

My name is Alyson Sweeney, and I am so excited for another year teaching second grade at Sterling! I was born in Columbia, SC, but spent a lot of my childhood in Orlando, Florida.

I moved to Pennsylvania and earned my degree in Early Childhood Education at Millersville University and received my Master's in Curriculum and Instruction from Western Governors University. I have always had a passion for teaching and bettering myself as a teacher however I can. 

My goal as a teacher is to provide each of my students with a positive and loving learning environment where learning is a enjoyable for all of them. 

I am excited to work alongside amazing families as the school year progresses.
