About Miss Sweeney

My name is Alyson Sweeney, and I am so excited to be teaching second grade at Sterling! I was born in Columbia, SC, but spent a lot of my childhood in Orlando, Florida.

I moved to Pennsylvania and earned my degree in Early Childhood Education at Millersville University, and recently received my Master's in Curriculum and Instruction from Western Governors University. Greenville has so much to offer, and I am looking forward to exploring the area throughout the year. 

My goal as a teacher is to provide each of my students with a positive and loving learning environment where learning is an enjoyable thing for all of them. I am excited to work alongside amazing families as the school year progresses.
