About the Teacher

I am proud to be a TIGER and be a part of this great community! I graduated high school right down the road, in Landrum, then earned my B.S. degree in Physical Education from USC Upstate.

I am in my 13th year of teaching PE and I am excited to be back at the high school level after teaching elementary for 7 years in Columbia. It’s good to be HOME!

After graduating college I got into personal training and my husband, Darrell and I moved to Columbia where I taught at Brookland Cayce Highschool for 4 years and was recognized as Coach of the Year and then moved on to teach at Congaree Elementary School where I was recognized as Teacher of the Year as well. I love teaching kids about physical education and lifetime fitness while helping them find their niche in the sports and fitness world!

Outside of school, I love watching any sports that involve CLEMSON, being outdoors, spending time with our son Jaxx and playing in the Jeep!
