My class is a positive, student-centered environment where they have some control over their education. ​I like to connect lessons to the real-world to help students understand why what they are learning is important and useful outside of school. Through classroom jobs and role-play students can connect lessons to real-world scenarios that will teach the life skills they will need outside of the classroom.

This year we are going to learn and grow socially, emotionally and academically while building memories, relationships and doing it all together.  My personal educational philosophy is based on self-expression and growth. I want my classroom to be a safe place for all students to gather together to learn and grow while becoming the best versions of themselves. It is my goal as a teacher for all students that enter my classroom to excel throughout an interactive learning experience. I want my students to understand that not everyone learns in exactly the same way, and that these differences are okay. It is my goal to have a place for all types of learners in my classroom.
