Hello! My name is Alexis Sharp and I am excited to be your child's teacher this year. This will be my fourth year at Mauldin Elementary and it will be my ninth year teaching first grade. I absolutely love first grade and I am looking forward to this school year! I graduated from Clemson University in 2017 with a Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Education. I graduated in August 2022 from Clemson University with a Master of Education in Literacy and a certification in ESOL. I am looking forward to this year as we go through the journey of first grade together! 

I was born and raised right here in Greenville, South Carolina. Eight years ago I married my best friend, Tom, and this summer we welcomed our son, Stanley! We have two dogs named Clarke and Maple and we are obsessed with them. They are both full of energy and there is never a dull moment when they're around. In my free time I enjoy spending time outdoors and with family and friends, cooking, baking, and gardening.
