I moved to Greenville, SC from Asheville, NC eleven years ago. I graduated from Mars Hill University with my undergraduate degree in early and elementary education and completed my master’s degree through Walden University specializing in reading and literacy.

I have previously taught both fourth and fifth grade, this will be my eleventh year in the classroom. I am so excited to be a part of the WMS community and teach 6th grade ELA I truly love being in the classroom and teaching young minds, it is my home away from home.

I have been with my husband for 19 years and we have two wonderful children together. We also have two dogs! We like to do any outdoor adventures including camping, hiking, and swimming! We also love family movie nights! A few of my favorite things are reading, good coffee, sushi,  working out and getting pedicures!
