Hi Everyone! My name is Ash Foster-Lee. I am a traveling P.E. Teacher for the Greenville County School District. I love working with elementary age students, so I am happy to be instructing at 4 local schools: Pelham Road, Bethel, Plain (my home school), and Grove. I joined the district near the beginning of October, 2016 after teaching public school and working on my graduate degrees in Spartanburg over the past 8 years.
I love teaching lessons that promote teamwork, fitness and kindness. So far this year, I've been working on volleyball, throwing mechanics, baseball hitting, and locomotor skills. I am excited to be jumping into units that involve dance and gymnastics, basketball, and hockey in the coming months.
I love following pro and college football, pro basketball, soccer and playoff hockey. I spend a lot of my spare time doing work as a multimedia artist, massage therapist, and painter. In addition to Physical Education, I am also certified in History and English as a Second Language. I love spending time reading, traveling, and playing with animals. I have found fulfillment in many different interests so I encourage my students to also be curious and voracious life-long learners.
If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to contact me. I am honored to have the responsibility of instructing and strengthening your child's body, mind and character.
Sincerely,
Ash Foster-Lee
