I am Ms. Munn. I am originally from Miami, Florida. I have been teaching Art since 2019. I have been teaching here at J L Mann since 2023.
I am originally from Miami, Florida. I like to travel and explore new places. I have also lived in Washington (D.C.) Paris and Perpignan (FR), Providence (RI) and Tallahassee (FL). I speak French and want to learn Spanish.
In April of 2020, I adopted a four year-old dog named Lady (affectionally called "Ladybug"). Ladybug just turned 9 in April of 2025. She is a strange but wonderful creature.
In my free time, I have a lot of interests. I enjoy being outside and to take my dog out to parks, rollerblade, bike and swim.
As for my artistic pursuits, I work in a range of different art media, depending on what resources are available to me at the time. Currently, I am working on hand-building and throwing in clay. I was originally trained as a painter and my goal is to get back into painting more once I get settled here in Greenville. I take classes and attend workshops whenever possible to learn new things and to brush up old skills. I also love to dance and write.
I earned my MS in Art Education at FSU in 2019.
I earned my BA degree in Literature, with Minors in Art History and French from American University in Washington, D.C. in 2012.
If you have any questions, feel free to ask. I look forward to learning more about my students this 2025-26 school year.
