Students are encouraged to perform in other challenging ensembles, such as those found with Carolina Youth Symphony (CYS) and the Greenville County Youth Orchestras (GCYO).

Playing in an advanced group outside of class time gives your child the following advantages:
*Learning from other directors and teachers
*Working on more challenging and advanced music
*Getting the opportunity to perform with a full, symphony orchestra (CYS & upper level GCYO groups)
*Making friends with similar likes and interests
