About Me

I am originally from the Caribbean. I left in 1977 for the States to pursue my studies. In 1981 I obtained my BSc in Biological Science from University of Oregon and my Masters in Science Education from Clemson in 2010. This will be my 16 ^th year at Mauldin High and 33rd year as a Science teacher, having taught Science at a high school in Barbados for 17 years.

I love my subject and I love my job. I especially like the interaction with the students as we discuss and explore the subject as it relates to our daily lives. It is my hope that students will develop a love for the subject and perhaps would have learned some useful information pertaining to their personal health and the environment surrounding us.
