About me

Welcome to my web page.  This is my  21st year teaching Special Education in Greenville County Schools and I am thrilled to be here. This is my fourth year at Wade Hampton High School. Our goal for the year is thoughtful work. 

 I grew up in Spartanburg, South Carolina and graduated from Spartanburg High School.  I went to USC-S for the first two years of college and then transferred to the main campus in Columbia to finish my BS in Psychology.  Go Gamecocks!  I went back to school after working in the business world for 27 years and received my MAT from Converse College and then added on certification in special education.  I have two sons, one daughter and two grandchildre and am active in my church. I am enjoying watching my grandchildren grow and change daily.  I love to read, travel and cook for my family
