Hello! My name is Allison Thompson, and I am looking forward to a great year here at Riverside High School! My philosophy is that all of life is a journey and an adventure - even school (!) - and it is through reading and writing that we can experience the world around us in a brand new way. I want to instill in my students an insatiable curiosity that will drive them to be lifelong learners and thinkers.
You can use this website as a general overview of the content that we cover in my classes. Specific assignments and timely announcements can be accessed by students through Google Classroom.
Office Hours: I am available for extra help by appointment each day from 8:30-45 am, and from 3:45-4:00 pm. If you would like to meet with me, please email me to set up a specific time and day.
E-Learning Days: In the event of an E-Learning day, please check Google Classroom and your email for important announcements and Live Google Meet instructions.
