An academic honor society to honor students who have excelled in German. To be eligible for induction, students must have completed one and a half semesters of German with a 3.3 grade point average (or 87% average) in German and have an overall grade point average of 3.0/4.0 scale. 


PURPOSE: The German National Honor Society is to recognize high achievement in German by students of Riverside High School and to promote continuity of interest in the German Culture.


Any student who maintains his membership through his senior year will be allowed to wear the National German Honor Society cord/stole at graduation.


GOALS: The German Honor Society is dedicated to preserving German culture and teaching students about the importance of learning world languages through service to our community.  Activities include a combination of social and service functions.
