Battle of the Books

Battle of the Books is open to 4th and 5th graders who love to read. The books come from the 2017 - 2018 SC Children's Book Award Nominee book list.

Alexander will be competing against other participating schools in March. Students will be quizzed on questions from the books so reading for comprehension and details is a key component of the program as students develop their vocabulary and reading stamina in a fun, exciting format.
