Hi! My name is Kaitlin Jones, and I am so excited to be teaching kindergarten at A.J. Whittenberg this year! I am originally from Laurens, SC, but I just moved from Columbia to Greenville this summer to be closer to family.I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of South Carolina and my Master’s degree in Literacy from Clemson University. This will be my seventh year teaching and my fourth year in kindergarten! Outside of the classroom, I love hanging out with my family and friends, spending time with my two kitties, and cheering on McLaren during Formula 1 race weekends. I am so happy to be joining the AJW family and can't wait to dive into an amazing school year together!

My name is Mrs. Zimmerman (Mrs. Z). I was born and raised in Greenville, SC. I graduated from Winthrop University with a Bachelor's in Early Childhood Education. My husband and I have been married for seven wonderful years and have some precious pets! We have three dogs: Cowboy, Bandit, and Bell Bell. We also have chickens! This will be my 13th year of teaching kindergarten. When not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my friends and family, crafting, working out, and camping!
My name is Mrs. Patton! I grew up in Spartanburg, SC. I am married to Garry Patton and I have 3 children. Their names are: Maggie, Annie, and Walter. When I am not teaching I enjoy reading, gardening, biking, and walking my dog Bradley.

My name is Ms. McConnell! I grew up in Pickens, SC. This will be my 8th year teaching Kindergarten at AJW! I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education from Winthrop University and recently got a Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction from WGU. When not at school, I love to spend time with my family and friends, workout, and helping take care of my two poodle puppies, Johnny and Charlie! I cannot wait to meet our new students and work together to help them grow throughout this school year!
Hi! I'm Amy Durdon and a native from Maryland. I graduated from the University of Maryland and have been teaching for 38 years. Three of the years have been here at AJ in 2nd and 4th grades. I'm very excited to be working in kindergarten this year. In my spare time I love to swim, teach fitness classes and cook.
