What is FFA?
FFA, formerly known as Future Farmers of America, is a student organization that goes with the agricultural education courses. Students that are or even students not enrolled in agricultural classes can join FFA. As FFA members, students learn leadership skills including the following:
Public Speaking
Teamwork
Communication
Confidence
Social Skills
WMS FFA will also participate in community service events, regional/state competitions, state/national conferences, leadership workshops, camps, etc.
When does FFA meet?
We will meet monthly after school. Dates will be determined once FFA officer selection is finalized. Parents will be responsible for transportation for every meeting.
How do I join?
It costs $10 per school year to join FFA. This allows you to be an active member of the Woodmont Middle School FFA which means you can participate in the meetings, field trips, etc. I will begin collecting money on Monday, September 9.
How do I get information about FFA activities?
To keep up with anything happening with WMS FFA, you can like our page on Facebook (Woodmont Middle FFA) or join the Google Class using the code mxrxfoy. These two places always have the announcements for every meeting/activity.
