Hi there! My name is Amanda Hamann. I taught elementary art for six years with Spartanburg District Five before switching to Greenville County School District last year. I'm so excited to start year two of artistic adventures with your sweet students of Alexander Elementary!

I received my Masters Degree from Converse College in Art Education in 2018. My dual B.A./B.S. is from Ohio University in Studio Art, French, and Anthropology (Archaeology emphasis). Before becoming a teacher, I had many life experiences and wore many hats: library page, zoo employee, paint instructor, art therapy intern, field archaeologist, ESOL teacher in France, and museum events coordinator to name a few! I consider myself a lifelong learner and love blending art projects with science, history, and culture.

In my spare time, I love to read, create art, visit museums, spend time outdoors, hike, ski, bike, climb, and travel the world!
