First of all, let me tell you how excited I am to be your child's MLP teacher. It is a privilege to teach your child. As we get to interact, I hope to learn a little about you. I would like for you to get to know a little about myself as well.
I was born and raised in Southern California. I attended college there at California State University, San Bernardino. Upon graduating with my BA in Liberal Studies and earning my teaching certificate and ESOL endorsement, I taught three years of third grade. During my free time I enjoyed doing many activities that Southern California has to offer, such as going to the beach, the mountains, and the desert. I then relocated to South Florida.
In South Florida I taught another two years, one year of 2nd grade and one year of 5th grade. I had the opportunity to live on the beach and enjoyed every minute of it. I also took advantage of seeing many of the tourist attractions in South Florida such as the Florida Keys, the Everglades, and boat tours of all of the mansions in Fort Lauderdale. I also enjoyed all of the wildlife there.
I then moved to Greenville and this is my fifteenth year teaching for Greenville County. I am very excited to be here and enjoy the unique atmosphere of the South. I enjoy spending time with my son, family, friends, and pets. I also love the outdoors, traveling to new places, gardening, doing puzzles, and watching sports (especially baseball). I love nothing more than to watch my son play baseball.
