“In this classroom, every child is valued, every voice is heard, and every success is celebrated.”

Welcome!
My name is Allison Chamness, and I’m proud to have spent the past 32 years teaching in Greenville County Schools. I am excited to join the Rudolph Gordon family and be part of such a wonderful school community.

I earned my degree in Special Education from Winthrop University and am a National Board Certified Teacher in Exceptional Needs (Early Childhood through Young Adulthood).

Teaching is a passion, and I’m excited to work with both you and your child this school year. I believe that when we work together as a team, we can create a learning environment that is successful, engaging, and full of growth.

A little about me:
My husband, Tom, recently retired after 30 years in education and is now beginning a new chapter with Powdersville Insurance Company. We’ve been married for 31 years and have two children, Christopher and Caroline. We also have a lovable Golden Doodle named Lucy.

Outside of the classroom, I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling, exploring great local restaurants and cheering on the Clemson Tigers!
