About Me

A little bit about Amy Calwile (Mrs. C to my students!) 

I absolutely love being a Business (CTE) teacher! I am not new to teaching, but am new to MHS this school year! I am currently pursuing my Ed.S at Furman University and I obtained my Master of Science in Human Resources Management from Troy University in Alabama, Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Management from USC Upstate, and HS Diploma from Hillcrest High School. I have worked in Corporate America my entire career until 5 years ago when I decided to pursue what I was truly passionate about-- which is, to make a positive impact in the lives of students in order to help them grow into the future leaders of the world! I absolutely love building relationships with my students and seeing all of their hard-work pay off. It is very important to me to bring in "real world/real life" experiences into my classroom. 

My husband, AJ, also graduated from Hillcrest High School where he played on our basketball team! I am a mother to 4 awesome children. Isabella (17) is a SENIOR and stays busy with college classes and working. Jameson (15) is in the 10th grade and keeps me busy with his traveling soccer schedule, Charlotte (8) and she is in the 3rd grade and loves drawing. Easton (2) keeps me very busy and is hilarious! Family is so important to me and I spend all of my extra time with them; including my sister, Patricia who is my best friend, and I am a "Titi" to my 3 beautiful nieces! Gabriella and Juliana are SENIORS in High School and Maddie is in the 6th grade! My parents are my biggest fans and my role models-- I wouldn't be where I am today without them!
