Hello! My name is Amber Barnette and I have the privilege of teaching your child in Physical Education each week. This is my 26th year teaching PE. This is my 14th year teaching full time at Mountain View but I have taught for many more years as a part-time teacher at Mountain View. I am married to Doug and we have two wonderful daughters. My oldest daughter, Abbie, works at an accounting office and will get married this year. My youngest daughter, Carson, is a freshman at Greenville Tech where she will transfer to USC-Upstate for education. I love to spend time with my family! I'm also an assist volleyball coach at Blue Ridge Middle School.
I graduated with my Bachelor of Science in Physical Education from University of South Carolina-Spartanburg (Upstate) and graduated with my Masters in Elementary Education from Clemson. I have also earned my National Board Certification.
