Hello! My name is Amber Barnette and I have the privilege of teaching your child in Physical Education each week. This is my 25th year teaching PE. This is my 13th year teaching full time at Mountain View but I have taught for many more years as a part-time teacher at Mountain View. I am married to Doug and we have two wonderful daughters. My oldest daughter, Abbie, graduated from Greenville Tech with an accounting degree and works at an accounting form. My youngest daughter, Carson, is in 12th grade at Blue Ridge (Go Tigers) and wrestles. I love to spend time with my family! I'm also an assist volleyball coach at Blue Ridge Middle School.
I graduated with my Bachelor of Science in Physical Education from University of South Carolina-Spartanburg (Upstate) and graduated with my Masters in Elementary Education from Clemson. I have also earned my National Board Certification.
