Updated Grading Policy for eLearning:

The district has developed a grading policy in alignment with the State of SC's directives for the Covid-19 eLearning time period. There will be only 1 grade reported for the 2nd semester which will be a total number of points combined between the traditional time periods of Q3 and Q4. Students will receive WEEKLY grades based on paricipation and effort as follows:

  • 100 - The student was consistently engaged in all assignments throughout the week.
  • 85 - The student was somewhat engaged in assignments throughout the week.
  • 70 - The student was minimally engaged in assignments throughout the week.
  • 50 - The student was not engaged in assignments throughout the week.

The grading periods you will see in the gradebook for this time period are the following:

  • Week Ending March 27th
  • Week Ending April 3rd
  • Week Ending April 9th
  • Week Ending April 24th
  • Week Ending May 1st
  • *Should we not return to school at this point, new grading weeks will be posted at that time.
