90-100 A                               Studies Classes: major assessments = 50%,    minor assessments = 50%

80-89 B                                Honors Classes: major assessments = 40%,    minor assessments = 60%      

70-79 C

Grading Update for English 1 Honors & Geometry

Starting this year, English 1 Honors and Geometry will follow the high school grading policy. The grade floor advantage used in middle school will no longer apply. Grades will count toward students’ high school transcripts, so consistent effort and communication with teachers are key.
