My name is Joel Colon and this is my first year at Ralph Chandler Middle School and my 20th year teaching. I am very excited to be here and hope this will be an amazing year!
I graduated with my Bachelors Degree in English from Florida Atlantic University and a Master of Arts Degree in Education from North Park College in Chicago. I have spent my career teaching in Chicago and in the Greenville area.
At home, I have 18 year old twins that are headed off to college as well as an overly demanding pair of dogs that keep me busy. In addition to my dogs, I like to spend time in my yard taking care of my chickens.
