Hello! My name is Kayla Dix. The 2026-2027 school year will be my 20th year teaching at Paris Elementary, and my 19th year in 3rd grade. Before becoming part of the Paris family, I taught 1st and 2nd grades at another school in Greenville County. 

I graduated from Furman University in 2005 with a degree in Elementary Education. I earned a Masters degree in Early Childhood Education, also from Furman.   

I am very excited to have your child in my class this year!

Welcome! My name is Sarah Pratt and I am happy to be your child's third grade teacher! I attended Clemson University where I received my Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education. I completed my Master's degree at Furman University. This will be my 10th year teaching. I am passionate about teaching and hope that I can make a positive impact on every student that I teach this year.

In my free time, I enjoy attending Clemson athletic events (Go Tigers!), traveling to new places, visiting favorite places, and spedning time with my family and freinds.

My name is Cherish Rodriguez,  and I am thrilled to be your child's third-grade teacher for the 2026–2027 school year!  I grew up in the beautiful mountains of West Virginia before moving to Greenville for college. I earned my bachelor's in Elementary Education with a Read to Succeed Literacy Endorsement. I later completed my Master of Education and am currently working toward my second master's degree from the University of South Carolina.

Outside of school, I love spending time with my husband, family, and friends. This summer, my husband and I celebrated our second anniversary by traveling more than 10,000 miles and camping across several states. I also enjoy hiking, exploring new places, and watching a good movie. I love trying new adventures and believe that curiosity, kindness, and a love of learning can make every day an exciting one!

Hello! I am Leslie Smith. I grew up in Simpsonville, SC. I studied Elementary Education at the University of South Carolina, graduating in 2010.  After grauduating, I returned to Greenville to teach.  I have taught fifteen years in third grade and one year in second grade.

I live in Greenville with my husband, Zach and our three boys: Gibson, who is 10; Gaines, who is 7; and Givens, who is 2. Our days are mostly filled with our boys and their various activities, but we also enjoy visiting the lake, cheering for the South Carolina Gamecocks, and spending quality time with family and friends.

Hi! I'm Darcy Stallone, and I'm so excited to be part of another amazing year at Paris Elementary! I've had the opportunity to serve in several different roles here over the past several years, and before joining the Paris family, I was a classroom teacher and librarian in Nevada.

When I'm not at school, you'll usually find me spending time with my family. We love being outdoors—whether we're camping, enjoying a day at the beach or the lake, or working in the garden together (my green thumb is still a work in progress!). Those moments together are some of my favorites.

One of the best parts of being a teacher is getting to know each student, building strong relationships, and watching them grow throughout the year. I can't wait to see all the learning, laughter, and exciting adventures this school year will bring. My goal is to create a classroom where every child feels encouraged, engaged, and confident—a place where we can all learn, grow, and shine together. I'm looking forward to a fantastic year with all of you!
