About Me

Hi there! I'm Kaitlin Saraceni, and I’m thrilled to be your child’s 3rd grade teacher this year. This is my 8th year in the classroom and my 5th year at Chandler Creek Elementary. It’s truly a special place to learn and grow, and I feel lucky to be part of such a wonderful school community.

I grew up in Travelers Rest before moving to Massachusetts in 8th grade. I spent 16 years up north and earned my Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Rhode Island College. While I enjoyed my time there, the South always had my heart, and I returned to the area in 2016.

Outside of school, life stays busy. My husband Jeff is a Registered Dietitian who works with long-term care facilities across the Upstate. We have three children: Aislyn is 15, Everett is 6, and Marcella will be 5 in September. We also share our home with Rusty, our lovable golden retriever; Georgia, a feral cat who decided we were hers; and a flock of backyard chickens that always keep life interesting! 

Our family loves spending time outdoors, hiking the beautiful trails nearby, going to the pool, staying active with sports, dance, and cheer, and enjoying all that Greenville has to offer.
