About Miss Moorer

Hello, and welcome to K5 French Immersion at Blythe Academy!

My name is Kim Moorer and I will be teaching ELA for K5 and 1st grade this year with Madame Attieh my aide who is fluent in French.  I have been teaching at Blythe Academy since 2021, and I began with Greenville County as a substitute in 2015.  I moved to Greenville in 2007 and received my degree in Early Childhood Education from Bob Jones University in 2009, and my Master’s degree in Elementary Education from Bob Jones University in 2012.  I am from Columbia, SC where I taught K4-5th grade in St. Matthews.  During any spare time, I enjoy quilting, crocheting, sewing, pottery, playing the piano, wood burning, and working in my yard.  I hope to have a great year in K5/1st grade this year, and hope to provide our families with resources to help our students succeed!

Polish Pasta

This was my first attempt to cook with onions.  I usually don't like onions, but I love the flavor they leave behind.  I also have never tried sauerkraut before either.  This dish has a great taste to it, and I imagine it tastes great with Parmesan cheese on top!
