We're so excited about this school year and all of the growth that has occurred in our area. We look forward to serving our students and families at REC. When creating the Title I plan in the Spring, we wanted to continue to think of the family's at Cashion and how best we could meet the needs of our students. Below are some dates of events we would LOVE to have you be a part of this school year.
September 11, 2023: Open House-This is a time to visit classrooms, see what our students are doing and hear about what Title I is and how it impacts our school.
October 9, 2023: REC Family Fun Fest taking place in 3 different communities. Come join us for games, free books donated from Greenville County Library, books & materials from SCETV and a time to hang out with our REC staff ! Food trucks will be at each location for families to purchase dinner and/or dessert. All 3 locations will have the same activities at the same time. Flyers will be sent home with the specific location for your family to attend, which is based on the home address.
December 4, 2023: Community Fair Night with performances. REC families along with others in the community will be invited to set up booths around the building in order to share their trade, business or expertise. Our STEP Team, chorus and Drummers will perform.
December 14, 2023: SIC meeting & 1st Title I planning for 2025. SIC along with any parents are invited to join us for our Lunch & Learn at 12PM at REC to discuss the process of planning for our Title I funding for the 2025-2026 school year.
January 30, 2024-STEAM Night- Students with families will make and take as well as explore multiple STEAM activities.
