counselor's corner

My name is Emely Ramirez, and I'm the school counselor for Carver Elementary. Before becoming a counselor, I taught bilingual education at Carver. As a child I attended Carver Elementary and went off to graduate from Greenville High School in 2014. I attended Sam Houston State University where I obtained my bachelors in Victim Studies and graduated with my Master of Science in Counseling and Development from Texas Woman's University in 2021.

As the school counselor, I teach social and emotional lessons to all grades K-4, I provide individual and group counseling, while having a focus in play therapy. I help our families find resources in our community as well as in our school to better facilitate a healthy environment for our students.
