Commercial Pilot License, NMC Flight Instructor Training
Role Model: Family friend named Chad Elliott, a pilot for FedEx. who did all of his training at NMC. Ever since Tanner has shown an interest in aviation Chad has been the person that she goes to for any questions or advice she needs to be successful in her career. Chad is someone she will always look up to in aviation.
Tanner is originally from Saranac, Michigan where she graduated from high school and is currently living in Traverse City, Michigan She is a commercial pilot and is working on becoming a flight instructor at Northwestern Michigan College where she earned an Associates of Applied Science degree and all her previous flight training. Along with CFI training, she is working toward her Bachelor of Business Management at Davenport University. Once she has received all of her ratings and hours that are needed, she would like to follow in Chads footsteps and also become a pilot for FedEx!

Faith is from northern Wisconsin and moved to Traverse City to attend college at NMC. She has an Associates in Aviation Flight and began working as a flight instructor at NMC in January of this year. She hopes to someday fly for the airlines and fly internationally.

Heather has lived in Traverse City for most of her life. She is an alumnus of NMC and has a Bachelor of Applied Science from Davenport University. She has worked at NMC for 19 years. She has spent the last 5 years in her current position as the Advisor for the Aviation program.

Klohie hails from Frankenmuth Michigan. She now lives in Traverse City Michigan and has been a Certified Flight Instructor at Northwestern Michigan College for the last year and a half. She is almost at her ATP minimums and plans to move into working for the airlines but hopes to stay in the instructing space in some capacity.
Florida Institute of Technology, working on BS Aviation
Role Model: Lisa Spencer, whom she met at the Women in Aviation International Conference. She is a current Skywest pilot who recently got a job opportunity for Hawaiian Airlines.
Sydney grew up in Lake Tahoe California and started glider training at 14 years old. She was able to obtain her Private Pilot License by the time she was 16 years old. After two years at Florida Tech, she is currently working on her Commercial Multi Engine flying a Piper Seminole. She has been a part of Women in Aviation International, the Space Coast Florida Tech Chapter and is working her way up to the Vice President role.
Sydney's goal is to become an airline pilot while continuing to fly in General Aviation and continuing to play a role in aviation organizations, such as Women in Aviation International (WAI).

Role Model: One of her current mentors is her private pilot’s license instructor. Though is no longer her instructor they remain in contact and she still continues to inspire Summer.
Summer is from Tahoe City CA which is where she first began her flight journey flying gliders. Her last two years of high school were spent in the Virgin Islands. She now attends Florida Institute of Technology where she is currently working on her Instrument credentials and flying a Piper Avidyne. She is the chapter president of Women In Aviation. Her goal is to work as an airline pilot while continuing to be involved in Women In Aviation and other aviation organizations.
