LEAD Youth Conference is an annual one-day event created to empower Year 6-9 students during this important stage in their school journey as young leaders. Through a blend of inspirational talks and energising group activities, students will learn how to become active and inspiring leaders of their school and community.
Students will gain advice on how to make good choices, build their confidence and make a difference from inspiring and diverse guest speakers as well as live-streamed entertainment and pre-recorded short video clips, all with powerful key messages to inspire our tamariki all whilst forming a strong network of peers from schools across the region. The LEAD Youth Conference provides an environment where students can step outside the classroom to truly understand what it means to be a leader.
Let’s make the 2025 LEAD Youth Conference a celebration of individuality and creativity. It’s time to Express Yourself while reaching our own unique potential and growing together as future leaders.
All Taranaki schools are welcome to join this epic event in person or online. For those outside of Taranaki we welcome you to join us online to take part in this amazing day all from the comfort of your classroom with our hybrid option! We will ensure you all have just as much fun with us in Taranaki by providing lots of interactive opportunities and fun.
