Amber Murray, Green Party Candidate for Lethbridge, AB
Five days until the federal election! Good luck, voters!
MOVING FORWARD: we want to make the Green Party a regular feature in the Lethbridge political landscape. I am seeking folks who want to be involved in an Electoral District Association (EDA) that will meet monthly and be active in environmental initiatives in the city, province, and country. We want to grow the young minds who are interested in preserving our water, air, and land through legislation. Please let me know at amber.murray@greenparty.ca if you'd like to be included. Also find my social media contacts at the bottom of the page if you'd like to be in touch.
It's 2025. If the environment, water, and conservation isn't at the forefront of every economic decision made going forward, we won't have much of a resource economy to participate in. Please get involved.
Find a link to my candidate page below. There, you will see my bio, as well as have access to donating to the party. I encourge you to send $5 to show the federal Greens that Lethbridge is a place to concentrate on. Also, get in touch through the link provided and let me know if you're interested in being part of an Electoral District Association for the Greens moving forward: an organized group to press environmental issues at every level of government.
Campaign Goals:
We can't do this without the boundless energy and amazing ideas of the people in Lethbridge. We need to hold space for them to work, and ask them how we should proceed. See side menu: "Join" and get involved. The water needs you!
Here lies the heart of my campaign. My own platform within the Green Party core values. This is what I'll be bringing to the upcoming forums, meet-and-greets, and your doorstep.
We don't have much time. See side menu: "LEND YOUR VOTE" for my pitch to voters.
There are many people, as members of different groups, standing up against coal mining in the headwaters of SW Alberta. They are here for you to learn about and to join. See side menu: "Opposition to Coal".
Journalists across Canada are following the story of coal mining on the eastern slopes in Alberta. Scientists and entertainers are involved in pushback. Watch for continually updated stories in the side menu: "Information and media"
