Hello! My name is Ann, and I am heading into my Senior year of David Douglas High School. I enjoy playing the flute and hiking in the beautiful state of Oregon. This year, I have learned many valuable things about environmental justice, the Lents community, and the importance of pollinators during my Green Lents internship. The most memorable part of this internship was catching pollinators and weeding at Lents Park.
Hi! My name is Thien Tu, and I'm going to be a junior at David Douglas High School. My hobbies include playing video games and weightlifting. A thing I learned about during our internship is the diversity and variety that exists in the seeds of foods we eat. The most memorable part of the internship for me was wading into the tall grass of Powell Butte to clear space for trees.
Hello! I'm Liana and I'm going to be a sophomore this year at David Douglas High school. I love to cook, bake and I love swimming. This year I learned about environmental justice and the community that surrounds me. Green lents also inspired me to be more aware of the history of seeds and how important they are. My favorite part of the internship was when I did my shift at the tool library.
