Troubleshooting

If a student is having issues, please follow the steps below:

  1. Have the student quit the Meet and log back in. (This has corrected students not being able to hear/see the teacher/class)

  2. Have the student shut down the Chromebook completely, then reboot. Once they reboot they will try to log in again. (This has corrected students not being able to hear/see the teacher/class, has allowed kids to get into the meet)

  3. Try using a different device (phone, home computer, etc) (This has corrected students not being able to see/hear/get in)

There is a possibility that it is an operating system issue. This means that their computer might not be fully updated. Restarting usually can let a computer update to the newest operating system and remedy the issue.

If steps 1-3 did not work, please note the following:

Google is currently having an increased demand of use due to the new school year. Due to this, people are randomly having errors that are out of our control. The classroom teacher will inform the tech department at Green Island that you are having an issue.
