St. Patrick's is at the forefront of the sustainability movement in K-12 schools, particularly in engagement and education programs. Their thoughtful and ambitious work in educating and preparing their students has grown in leaps and bounds since the foundation of the sustainability program in 2017. Looking forward to the next five years, the school is hoping that this baseline assessment will provide an accurate view of sustainability in education and operations so that a climate action plan can be created to push St. Patrick's even further along this path.
The purpose of the sustainability baseline is to document and understand where St. Patrick's is right now with respect to sustainability. This reference point will allow a a cohesive and effective plan to be created.
