Psychoeducational Evaluations

An individualized battery of assessments designed to identify the presence of a variety of Learning Disabilities, including Specific Learning Disabilities, Intellectual Disabilities, Dyslexia, and Dysgraphia.

Psychological Evaluations

An individualized battery of assessments designed to identify Mood, Emotional, and Behavioral disabilities, such as Depression, Anxiety, Bipolar Disorder, and Conduct Disorder, among others.  Assessments are also provided to identify Autism Spectrum Disorder.

Consultation

Educational papers such as IEP meetings, educational evaluations, and disciplinary records can be difficult to understand.  GEC is able to assist in going through all educational documentation and empower parents to advocate for their children in an educational setting.  We also provide Psychological and Psychoeducational evaluation interpretation and recommendations.  

Advocacy

Due to the intimidating nature of high stakes meetings in the school setting, GEC provides advocacy services that include going through all educational documentation, IEP meeting preparation, and attendance at IEP meetings.  We understand that parents know their children best, and we support parents in developing he knowledge and skills to communicate to school district staff and exhibit appropriate advocacy on behalf of their children.
