Make a plan: do you have more than one subject to study for? Plan how you'll use your time. Consider planning more time for your more difficult subjects. Don't forget to give yourself breaks! Consider setting a timer or alerts on your phone to keep you on schedule.
Talk it out: studying with friends can be more fun, and talking through what you learned can help you remember it more deeply. Sharing resources with a study group can also be a helpful way to prepare for an assessment.
Check your resources: make sure to have all the resources your teacher has given you and look back through everything as you review.
Eat, Sleep, Repeat: rest and brain food are the best way to fuel your studying. Make time to get enough sleep, make healthy eating choices and stay hydrated.
