Overview

Technology is ever-evolving and GCSC staff must be proficient with developments in essential products. At the current time, there are two paths of professional development.

PG Version 2.0

All certified staff are required to attend a three sequence of training for the products that are essential to their building. This sequence of training is called PG Version 2.0. Teachers typically take this sequence of courses during their first year with the district.

Beyond School Series

Each semester there are optional learning opportunities focused on one or two aspects of the technology at GCSC. These courses are typically one hour in length and free PGP are offered to those who complete a class. Additionally, there are summer Open Digital Days where teachers are paid $100 per day (maximum of two days) to curate digitally infused curriculum.
