Ms. Samantha

Welcome!  My name is Samantha Buchanan and I am the 5th grade Science and Math 2 teacher at Green County Intermediate School.  This is my 14th year at GCIS and I am excited to begin this new year!

I graduated from Western Kentucky University in 2010 with my bachelor's degree in Elementary Education, also from University of the Cumberlands in 2016 with my master's degree as a Teacher Leader, and in 2022 with my Rank 1 at University of the Cumberlands in Education Specialist - Principalship.

I live in Green County with my husband, Jacob, our 10 year old little boy, Grayson, and our 6 year old daughter Mallory.
