About Me!

Hello everyone and welcome to my page! My name is Kathy Jones and I am so excited to begin my 4th year teaching preschool at GCPS. I am looking forward to having your child in my class this year. My wonderful assistant is Kim Keown. Kim has been employed at GCPS for ten years! I can't wait to experience all the fun things that we have planned for our classroom this year. I have a BA in Human Services and Counseling with 16 years' experience.  I graduated with my master's in interdisciplinary early childhood education from Campbellsville University. I have a strong passion for working with children. I have also served in the preschool classrooms at my church (3 Trees) in Campbellsville. I have been married to my husband for 17 years and we are very blessed with two beautiful girls Zoey age 9, and Zaylee age 8. My hobbies include walking/running, swimming, watching my girls play softball and my happy place is the beach! My favorite foods are spaghetti and chilli, and I prefer salty snacks over sweets! My favorite color is pink and my favorite drink is sweet tea!
