Hi! My name is Mrs. Cheyenne Matney & I am so excited to teach Reading Intervention at Green County Primary School this year!
I am originally from Bowling Green, KY and graduated from Western Kentucky University in May 2018 with an Elementary Education degree. I also graduated from Campbellsville University in May 2022 with a Master's Degree in School Counseling. I love school as a teacher and as a student! I can't wait to return to Campbellsville University to work towards my Rank 1.
My family is so important to me! I currently live in Campbellsville with my husband, Michael, our dog, Rhaella, and our two precious sons, Beckham and Campbell. Michael and I have three nephews and one niece who we love dearly. We spend much of our free time fellowshipping with our families. I also love to read, kayak, travel, and spend time relaxing with friends.
Michael & I got married in July of 2019.
My nehpew William & my son Beckham. Beckham was born in June of 2021.
Our newest addition! Campbell joined our family in September of 2023.
I am so excited to start another year at GCPS! I have dreamed of being a teacher since I was a little girl & it is so cool to see that dream come true! I cannot wait to get to know each of my students and their families. Here's to a great year! Go Dragons!
I student taught in Barcelona, Spain for a month. While I was there, I got to visit Paris for a weekend. Magical!
