Meet Mrs. Bagby

Hello! My name is Mrs. Bagby, and I am excited to begin my sixth year as an educator! I am a lifelong resident of Green County, and I am proud to call this community my hometown. It is a privilege to be part of the Green County School System, and I look forward to another wonderful school year.

I teach Health Science at the Area Technology Center, where I have the opportunity to prepare students for careers in healthcare. My courses include Medicaid Nurse Aide, Phlebotomy, and Body Structures.

In addition to being an educator, I am a Registered Nurse with a Bachelor’s degree and have 16 years of nursing experience. Throughout my nursing career, I have worked in home health care, long-term care, and medical-surgical hospital care. I enjoy bringing my clinical experience into the classroom and helping students develop the knowledge, skills, and professionalism needed to pursue careers in healthcare.

Outside of school, I am married to John Bagby, who works as a dialysis technician in Campbellsville. We have two daughters, Lyra, age 14, and Linley, age 10. Our family also includes our dog, Willow, and our cat, Melvin!

Faith is also an important part of our family. My husband and I both serve as Sunday School teachers at Aetna Grove Baptist Church, and my husband also serves as a preacher within our association.

I am truly excited about the upcoming school year and feel blessed to be part of such a wonderful community. I look forward to meeting our students, families, and colleagues and to making this another successful year in Green County Schools!

Go Dragons! 💚💛
