Greetings! My name is Stephanie Eastes, and I will be teaching seventh and eighth grade writing this year. This is my third year in the district, and I am and so excited to be part of the team here at GCMS!
Upon graduating from Adair County High School, I attended Georgetown College and graduated with a major in elementary education and a minor in French. In addition to teaching at the intermediate level, I had the blessing of homeschooling my children for fifteen years. I also served as a seventh grade writing teacher at Christian County Middle School for two years.
Along with my love for working with students, I enjoy traveling, exercising, reading, journaling, and spending time with family and friends, especially my children, Taylor, Hannah, Abby, Emma, and Jonathan.
As I reflect upon the upcoming school year, my hope is that my students will become confident composers, grammar gurus, and fans of writing.
