Hello,
My name is Roxye Sidebottom and I am entering my first year as principal at Green County Middle School this year. I have taught Science for 14 years and look forward to bringing my teaching experience and leadership skills back home to Green County. I am excited to work with the students, staff, and community of Green County.
My husband, Larkin, and I have been married for 20 years and reside on our family farm. We have two amazing children, Justin (18) and Aliivia (13). I graduated from GCHS in 1997, and have earned 6 degree/certifications from multiple universities. My most recent degree is from Asbury University in Principalship, Instructional Supervision, and DPP. My husband works as a central office phone technician with Windstream. Alivia is active in both cheer and volleyball while Justin has graduated and currently farms.
In my spare time I enjoy walking, time in the pool, and practicing volleyball with my daughter. In the last few years I have also began to love to read. Time spent with God, family, and friends are things I value most. I am very blessed and enjoy the peace and joyful reminder that each sunset brings at the close of each day.
