Hello, Ms. Lisa here! I was born and raised a farm girl in the Milby family of the Black Gnat community and graduated from GCHS in 1982. I was a seamstress 13 years at Fruit of the Loom and then on to college at LWC to receive my Bachelors in Education by 1999. Several years later, I completed my Master's from CU. My teaching career has been at the intermediate level teaching 3rd - 5th grade. In 2017, I moved to my dream position as the Art teacher at GCIS.
On a personal note, for the past 43 years I have resided in the Exie community of Green County with my husband, Ronnie. God has blessed our family with two sons and daughter -in-laws , Tyler (Katie) and Grant (Natalie) Curry. Some of our proudest moments came with the arrival of 7 grandchildren named Parker, Daphne, Finn, Norah Kate, Matilda Mae, Ruby and Hattie Grace. We are active members at Greasy Creek Baptist Church and share a passion with others to live life according to God's will and be His shining light in this sometimes dark world.
My hobbies include helping on the farm raising corn and gardening. I also enjoy crafting and re-purposing furniture, cooking, fishing, spending time with family and exploring the outdoors on the ATV. Now, that's enough about me, God bless you! I look forward to meeting you soon!
Thanks for visiting, come back soon!
