- developed a ballot in the same format as a real election
- set up authentic election materials borrowed from our local clerk’s office
- spent multiple days learning about and researching the causes present on this years ballot
- designed “I voted” stickersÂ
- got their friends to vote
- practiced a civic dutyÂ

Primary source workshops.
Jeopardy Review Games (a classroom favorite and the activity that gets the most praise from former students).
Matching cards, Headbands vocabulary review games, hexagonal thinking card sort, and thinking maps for quick review and formative assessment.Â
