A transformative project dedicated to empowering youth as environmental changemakers through hands-on activities, intercultural exchanges, and skills-building workshops. EcoAgents of Change aims to ignite passion and foster collaboration among young people for a sustainable future.
Our mission is to cultivate environmental awareness, resilience, and proactive citizenship among young people, equipping them to tackle ecological challenges and promote sustainable practices within their communities. By uniting diverse backgrounds, we inspire participants to become active stewards of a greener tomorrow.
This workshop teaches participants to repurpose waste into creative art, promoting both creativity and sustainable practices. Participants leave with not only new skills but also a deeper understanding of the impact of waste and the importance of recycling.
Take part in a beach clean-up to restore Aruba’s beautiful coastlines while learning about the effects of waste on marine ecosystems. Collaborating with the local community, participants leave a lasting positive footprint and inspire ongoing environmental action.
Structured debates on pressing environmental topics encourage critical thinking and public speaking. By examining different perspectives, participants develop an informed stance on sustainability issues, enhancing their communication and advocacy skills.
An interactive workshop where participants learn practical, eco-friendly habits they can adopt in daily life, such as zero-waste shopping, sustainable cooking, and DIY eco-friendly products. This activity empowers participants with tangible skills to reduce their environmental footprint and encourages ongoing, sustainable lifestyle changes.
Aruba provides a unique setting that aligns perfectly with our ecological and intercultural goals. The island offers not only a chance for participants to connect with its natural beauty and environmental challenges but also an opportunity to engage with and inspire the local youth to take a proactive role in sustainability efforts.
Through activities like beach clean-ups, workshops on sustainable living, and potential initiatives such as coral restoration or reforestation, we aim to create a lasting impact on the island. While we strive to understand and address the environmental challenges Aruba faces, we also hope to empower local young people to continue these efforts, fostering a culture of environmental stewardship and proactive citizenship.
By involving the local community in our project, we aim to build bridges, share knowledge, and encourage collaboration, ensuring that the positive changes we initiate together can grow and thrive long after the project ends.
